Reflecting on an Incredible Year at Nyblad Construction

As we prepare to wrap up 2024, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly remarkable year for Nyblad Construction. One of the standout moments of 2024 was being recognised at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards, where we proudly took home the award for the Building and Construction category. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to excellence and innovation in the industry.

In addition, we were honoured at the AWIC (Awesome Women in Construction) Awards with two accolades, including the prestigious Changemaker Award. This award celebrates our efforts to elevate the profile of women in construction and inspire both young women and men to pursue careers in this dynamic industry. Empowering the next generation of builders remains a cornerstone of our mission, and we’re proud to lead by example.

Building a Stronger Team

We started 2024 with a brand-new team, and over the course of the year, we’ve not only grown in numbers but also as a cohesive unit. Our team’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence has been instrumental in elevating Nyblad Construction to new heights. Together, we’ve tackled challenges, celebrated victories, and set the foundation for an even brighter future.

Expanding Our Horizons

This year, we’ve continued to work with Master Builders and its Industry Champion initiative which has seen Linn visit local schools to chat to students about careers in the building industry. We’ve also participated in numerous Master Builders events, including their annual roadshow and Golf Days. These opportunities have allowed us to strengthen relationships within the industry, share knowledge, and continue growing our network of exceptional suppliers and subcontractors. Building these connections ensures that we can deliver the highest quality outcomes for our clients.

Giving Back to the Community

Community engagement has always been close to our hearts, and in 2024, we’ve deepened our involvement. We began sponsoring a Story Dogs team, supporting literacy and education for children through this wonderful program. Meanwhile, our ongoing sponsorship of the over 50s soccer team saw them take out an impressive second place in this year’s tournament. It’s inspiring to support initiatives that foster teamwork and community spirit.

Delivering Exceptional Projects

From stunning kitchen and bathroom renovations to full unit and home transformations, this year has been packed with incredible projects. We’ve also taken on larger-scale endeavours, such as multiple home extensions, showcasing our ability to adapt and grow to meet the needs of our clients. Each project reflects our unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
